Was going to try and replace stepper motors in a 2005 GXP. Got it this far apart. Left hand side seems like I can not separate the board from the face plate.
At least I didn't want to force it. Right three quarters of the board has the stepper motors. Can't remove it with out the left one third being removed.
Just looking for any help on how to get it the rest of the way apart so the motors can be removed.

I would carefully inspect that area. if it is clips, you may break them - you can permatex silicon it back together.

the left should be similar to the right so compare and if it is glued together, you can keep scoring the seam with a rigid exacto tool until it separates.

stupid question, you've removed all of the needles, right? Beyond that, it's just the clips that hold it together. Gently pry with a screwdriver and the whole thing will come apart. The dash cluster is almost tool less other than the screws that hold the clips.

Yes the needles were removed. It is just the left quarter of the green board that wont come off. Three quarter of the right side is all loose. It does look like clips that come up through the green board in three places that may be holding it together. I put it all back in the car. Will probably get back to it again later. Just my temp gauge that acts up. Doesn't go all the way down sometimes so then it reads hot when it is not. Has not acted up since I took it apart and put it back in the car. I worked the motor back and forth and tried to clean it out with forced air. Maybe it will be good to go..
If not guess I just need to get those clips loose and pull up on the the left side to get it apart.

My temp gauge does the same thing. Where do get replacement stepper motors?

Got mine on Amazon. Was like 15 bucks for six and also came with replacement dash bulbs.
