Ok so it looks like I can remove the lower ball joint and sway link to get the shaft out,,,or remove the two strut bolts and the lower control arm will swing away....loos like the easier way is removing the strut bolts...whacha think

It depends on how rusted in place the strut bolts are.
Give them a good soaking overnight with PBBlaster or Kroil.
The bolts are also splined at the head end, so you will not be able to turn them.
Thread the nuts back onto the bolts until the end of the bolt is just at the level of protruding from the nut.
This way, you can safely whack them with a small sledge hammer or a larger ball peen type hammer.

I agree with MKMike.
Soak the bolts and pound them out.
That is how we did my shafts.
We did not touch the ball joint or the sway link.
Just make sure that you hit the nuts not the threads on the bolts.
It helps if you have two people.
That way one can guide it in and the other can tap it in.
You want to make sure that you don't cut the axle seal.

These will come right out I just replaced the struts 4 months ago
