Looking for help with front window. I cleaned up the motor and it works both ways connected directly to a battery. Can here the DDM clicking when toggling the switch. Have got 11.8V at the big orange wire into the DDM, and 11.8v at the connection to the motor, both up and down. Doesn't want to work when hooked up in the door. Everything else works, locks, windows and mirrors. Any ideas?

Thanks

What is the voltage at the motor, with the motor connected, when you try and raise/lower it? This could be a little more difficult to measure.

The orange power wire is broken inside the according tube by the hinge area. Seen it many times. It will supply voltage to a multimeter, but not enough current to run the motor.

That's where I was going with this. If the voltage drops off under load (considering some voltage drop is normal), but the motor otherwise works when connected directly to a good 12VDC source, there's something limiting current in the circuit. This is exactly the problem we found with your right rear door.

Thank you ddalder and harofreak00.....took a look at the wires in the rubber tube and turns out the big black one was broke. Butt connected together, tight space to work in, and all is good.
Thanks again
