Picked up another Bonneville, this time a 2003 SLE, fixed a few problems and now have a great car with one minor exception. I can't get the "Low Brake Fluid" warning to go away. I unplugged the sensor and it went away so I assumed it was bad, however I swapped it with another car and it worked on that car and i still had the warning with the switched known good sensor. I've heard there is a plunger that can get stuck but I sure don't see anything like that. It's not too big of a deal. I just left it unplugged but would love for it to work right. Anyone know how this works?

Maybe a wire is bad? Check the plug and the wiring that you can see from the plug, make sure it isnt cut/pinched.

Just looking at the wires and plug it appears ok, don't see any rubbing or kinks. I am planning to check them with an ohm meter but rain today and tomorrow both.

Well checked wiring and plug, all seems to be good. Guess I'll just leave it unplugged. I am going to hide it though, otherwise it will bug me every time I see that dangling plug!

The actual float is inside the reservoir. It gets stuck and needs to be cleaned. The reservoir needs to be removed to clean it though.
