Driving home from work in our 2000 Bonneville this afternoon the CEL illuminated....when I got home and hooked up my scanner, it showed the ever present P0410. Having had that happen on our 2000 Impala, I knew what to look for, so I immediately opened the hood to check if the fuse for the Secondary Air Pump was blown (as it had in the Impala)...... to my surprise I saw nothing listed for the pump and could not find the fuse...... SO, knowing it was a 30 amp fuse, I began to hunt with my circuit tester light and tested ALL the 30 amp fuses I saw in the underhood fusebox...... WA-LA.... I found a blown 30 AMP fuse......I checked the schematic on the cover for THAT fuse and to my surprise it was NOT listed......and while there were 6 fuses in that row.... it displayed on the schematic only 5 fuse locations. It appears to be in "position 21" BUT the 21 fuse was in an entirely different location controlling an entirely different circuit....... SO I'm assuming Pontiac made a mistake in this situation AND I post this for information to anyone else looking for that problematic fuse.....that seems to want to blow when it's cold and wet............... poor design on that Secondary Air Pump (IF it's really needed..... one of those EPA frustrations!).

Are you sure your underhood and rear fuse box covers aren't switched?

No, all the others are correct and this 30 AMP fuse is between space #23 and #24......there are 6 fuses on the top row....even this schematic you posted shows only 5.
