So I was thinking about maybe doing my plugs and wires before winter. So I started to look at plug wires. I want to get thicker wires than the stock ones... so I found that there were two sets that I liked. The MSD Street Fires and the Taylor Cable Thundervolts. Which of these would be a better choice or should I just stick with the stock kind? I was also wondering if I should go a step or 2 colder on the plugs, and if I do go colder which plus would you recommend?

Go to NAPA, get their Lifetime Warranty Beldin Premium wires. There is no advantage of the "performance" wires except the wallet lightening mod.

Only go colder plugs if you're adding boost.

When you say adding boost, do you mean if i am putting a smaller pulley on my supercharger?

Adding more boost yes. Stock boost, stock heat range.

Correct. When you drop a pulley size for the first time, then you will want to drop a heat range.

What brand spark plugs would be recommended then to put in?

I have Beldin wires and i would recommend Irridium NKG or Delco Plugs. Stock unless you are supercharged and higher boost. (i have 1 step colder for higher boost on mine)
