Does anyone out there know what the resistance is supposed to be on the MAF and which leads to test from on the plug ? I think mine is bad too and trying not to put out the 130 dollars for a new one without knowing for sure that is the problem. I cleaned mine very well and no luck. I have the code but not the running problems that were reported here.... Ill look online for a cheaper one if i have too. $130 bucks is a lot to pay for a part that can't be returned once installed.

By the way, I am new to this great forum ! I have seen alot of reliable solutions out there and commend all you experts out there willing to help the DIYer !

Not any real bad ones. Maybe a hard start once in a while and a little bit of hesitation when its cold. I have cleaned the MAF twice, cleared the code and keeps coming back.
Found one online for $40 cheap enough to replace it. Much better than $140 that Oreilly's was selling them for.....i just hate changing parts and hoping for the best. I like testing and seeing results.

I've often read in this forum that you may be better off buying a used MAF OEM sensor, than a new one.
Never buy Bosch.

Guess I was fortunate: Cleaning thoroughly worked for me.

Bought a can of MAF spray at NAPA, and sprayed the entire device, especially the electrodes, which were black/brown. Took about 18 good sprays to get shiny chrome. Sprayed in back of them well.
Had Q-tips standing by, but didn't use/need them with multiple sprays doing the job effectively.

Incredible the difference before and after!!!

After cleaning and refreshing my K&N filter, I put about 2,000 miles on, and then pulled the MAF again to check it for oil/dirt/grime, but found it still nice and shiny. Sprayed it again just for good measure, but it really didn't need it. 10 mins for the entire procedure.
