I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but it seems like when it gets colder out the washer fluid doesn't spray out on to my window. It like squirts out in a small stream, as if the line is plugged or there isn't enough pressure behind it. But when its warmer out, in the 40+ degree range, it sprays fine. Can the fluid be the issue? I have the Rain*X -32 deicer fluid in right now, but the fluid cant reach any higher than half my windshield to de-ice. :sadeyz:

Its probably ice starting to form in the lines or nozzel. Replacing fluid with colder rated fluid usually helps that but it sounds like you already have cold stuff in there.

Do both sides spray the same?

The fluid is already stuff rated for -32 degrees, so it can't be freezing in the lines. I could try taking some fine wire and see if I can unplug something in the line at the nozzles.

Yeah, they are generally the same pattern. Want me to take a video and show you what I mean? It just seems like the fluid doesn't have enough back pressure to actually spray all over the window.

pour some metholhydrate into the fluid to help separate any water in the fluid

There shouldn't be any water in there. I've poured the best washer fluid I can possibly buy, so I know I'm safe until the -40 degree area.

unclip them when its cold and test, my guess is some water is running down and freezing them up a little from the windshield... Or maybe the "Bonneville" banner on the windshild is blocking the spray... ;) jk

we had problems with our nozzles freezing on all our cars, just water melting onto the nozzle and freezing back over it.

That could be a plausible condition. What do you do to stop this from happening?
