mine needs to be replaced, do i get one for a 2001 pontiac bonneville or a 2006 GP? considering my engine is out of a gp but my oil pan and arm is out of my l36, if i had time to go outside and work and get under my car i could check it out but just looking for a quick easy answer.

lol thanks for enabling me to chat about my car at work

The question(s) you'd have to ask yourself: Are the threads different? Are the plugs different? Are the outputs different?

I'm pretty sure it's all the same because the shop never mentioned anything, but my Dash keeps telling me oil level low, and my retarded self keeps checking it lol. Alright im going to get the ac delco and replace it tomorrow i'll let you know how it goes. any reason the sensor would act up in the different engine? or any idea if the engine requires more oil then my l36?

Oil pressure and oil level are different. If you have "Oil Level Low" on your dash, you need the level sensor, not the pressure sensor. Check to make sure its plugged in before you get one. Pat already told you this in your other thread: post393807.html?hilit=level#p393807

Oil pressure sensor is located near the oil filter. It looks like this:

Oil level sensor is located on the front of the oil pan. It looks like this:
