Sitting her in the garage looking at my car in the driveway spilling lots of coolant on the ground. One drop per second like clockwork. Leak is coming from the firewall about halfway up close to the center but a little closer to the passenger side. Cool day, so it's not the A/C. Guess I need to start looking for a heater core.
Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Oldman

obviously check all the hoses around that area just to make sure they aren't leaking. Check the passenger side floorboard and see if there's any coolant leaking into the cabin.

However, it does kind of sound like the heater core if you can visually see it dripping from the firewall.

The AC will condense moisture even when the humidity is not uncomfortable if the compressor is turned on. That may be the drip source.

If your heater were leaking, the moisture would sit in the bottom of the HVAC box and you'd also smell the coolant smell inside.

my personal experience has been, dry floorboard, not a heater core. Hope it's a hose. - BC

Recently replaced the water pump and since I live in Savannah, Georgia, I just filled it with water. No coolant smell. The A/C was not turned on today, and besides there is about a half gallon of water that dripped out. Floors are dry, but I just don't know what else it could be. I've been having to add coolant, so it all made sense.
Except - obviously - the lack of water on the floor.
Thanks,

Keep your fingers crossed that it is just a bad hose going to the heater core. It may be leaking at the heater core fitting on the firewall.
