I have a 2000 Bonne SE . Yesterday, trans was slow pulling off after stopping at traffic light (did it twice) . Checked fluid level this morning after warming up engine, was almost a pint low, added Dexron VI to full level. Now it won't drive forward. Reverse works fine. Would a fluid/filter change correct my problem ? Help please !

Thanks Harofreak00 for posting the 2000 + Common problems and Solutions...... One thing I haven't checked yet is te transmission mount. Do you think that could be part of my tranny problem ?

No, the mount won't be your issue. If it's not going into first, your trans is most likely trashed....

I dropped the transmission pan and I saw ("carbon ?) in the fluid and a small piece of metal. I'm looking for a transmission. Does anyone know where I can find one?
