I'm thinking about getting these just curious if anyone is familiar with how I'd go about installing them and if I'd need new mufflers, they're stock so it's 12 years old would it make sense to replace them if they're not giving me problems? Any feedback is appreciated

Also if I change the exhaust tip is it going to have any effect on the sound?

I'm sure they work fine, if the mufflers are in good order the tips should be fairly easy to install at a muffler shop, they will need to most likely welded in. Tips are appearance and won't really change the sound.

Tips won't change the sound much, unless they're resonated tips, which these aren't. You'll have to get your stock tips cut off and the pipes adjusted, then these welded on. No need to change the mufflers unless you want to.

That tip has a 2 1/4" connection. Your stock tip is probably only 1 3/4" or maybe 2".
It can still be welded on with a 1" stitch weld along the top and then open around the rest of the circumference.

Some tips will make a difference in sound. More so with earlier generation (92-95) Bonne's that have a pinched outlet dumping into fake tips.

any decent muffler shop can make a correct pipe flared to fit the stock muffler to the tips and get them in correctly.. now personal pref. will be how you want the tips.. flush to the bumper, slightly past bumper or slightly tucked, with an performance muffler you will get less drone if the tips are flush or slightly past the bumper cause it will push the sound out behind the car rather then under it. Even resonated tips dont really do squat except hold water and rust.

dont look too bad. 304 stainless is about the best for durability you can get.
