Recently been having an issue with heat blower. It has started to work intermittently or not at all. Sometimes I will start the car and I would not get any heat only to come back 5 minutes later to have heating blowing. When it does work, it seems to not work to full capacity. It seems to not blow at full speed when the car is stopped.

Sounds like the motor. If it was the resistor, it wouldn't work at certain speeds.

You can try tapping your toe on the blower motor just to the right of the hump close to the firewall. With key ON and a tap, some of these failing motors will start up when the brush touches the commutator again. Mine were sticking in the slide and burning while running, then there was a gap when the blower was turned on the next time.

It also can be the connector for the motor where the contact has overheated and burned, giving poor contact at times.

I have not looked at my 03 bville ,but I did replace the blower on my 92 it was not that hard and I think motor was 50-75. The hard part was get the blower motor around chassis stiffener bar on the 92

The 03's motor comes out from the inside, it's just above the plastic panel above the passenger's feet. Even easier than your 92.

Just after I posted this it started to work again for about two weeks. I changed it out today, very easy fix.
