Hi all

So I'm going to be buying a new hub and was wondering if it matters if I get the 1st design steel wire clip or second design plastic wire clip??

Thanks, Keith

No difference at all, either will work.

Just transfer whatever clip you have onto the new harness.

Thanks guys for the info. So I went and got the new hub and installed it, still my anti lock and traction light are on. I scanned it and got a code B1233 Right front speed sensor. I checked the wire that go to the hub and all looks good. What should I do next?

Thanks, Keith

I would consider taking it back for another new one, it is possible that it is bad out of the box. If that don't work then I would say time to trace down some wires.

What brand hub did you buy? I cheaped out and bought a $70 hub and a month later the trac and abs lights came back on.

Timken or Moog are the only 2 i would use. I hate doing the install twice..

:btruestory: Fast forward a month or two and that cheap hub was growling louder than a set of mudding tires. Had to replace it with a Timken about 5 months later. Learned my lesson: do it right the first time

:withstupid:
On my old car, I got the cheap hubs and I went through about five of them altogether before I got the Timken ones. Once I put the Timkens on, I never had to do it again. It gave me practice though, I can change a hub on a 92-99 in 15 minutes (10 with air tools).

Yep, I went through that on the Driver's side of my 03. Sadly, the Timken from Rock Auto was the same price as the "cheap" NAPA hub I bought....

Well here's my dumb part: I ended up getting the Timken off of Amazon for the same price as I paid for the cheap hub the first time.
