i've had this problem for a month or two now. car only has a lil over 32,000 miles.
symptoms
1.under VERY LIGHT acceleration: the car "bucks",shakes, etc, and sounds of stalling right on key with the bucking and such. all this occurs right around 47 mph, (which is right at about OD lockup?)
2. it has once or twice during the whole time occured at the high 30's mph (can lockup occur then?)

i was going to be dropping the car off at the mechanic on monday endless there are other things to check.

:helpsmilie: help me please :helpsmilie:

thanks to everyone!

sounds like it's time for a tune up (plugs and wires).

that is cheaper than a tc, I'd take the wires back and get them warranty replaced. This symptom is classic ignition related.

depends on where you got them and if they have a lifetime warranty. most do.

Then your receipt and the wires themselves are all you'll need. the box if you have it.

I got this problem too, pretty much the same. I dont think its ignition related. Mine did it before AND after a thorough tune-up. Mine happens at about 1400-1700RPM in 4th. I've read around and I'm thinking TCC solenoid. Ive also read, but not too sure about the sources that it could also be MAF and Crank Position Sensor related. I would think those latter two would throw a code of somesort and not just be occuring at a cruiseing speed/situation.
