I have a 2002 Bonneville SLE. Summer is coming and I had to turn the AC on... but the driver side will not blow cold, the passenger side is fine.

I've done some searching, and I found some indication that it might be related to a blower motor or an actuator.

Could it be anything else? Possibly something as simple as a fuse?

Is there some troubleshooting or something that I could do to narrow it down?

00bonne, you never did say what you ended up doing with yours.

but on that topic, i see possibilities:
- low refrigerant
- blend door actuator
- compressor, orifice tube, and accumulator

would be nice if there were some things that i could do to narrow this down... also, mine gets AC on passenger side but not the driver side... if that means anything

I'd try putting some refrigerant in. It is a likely solution, and if it fails to help you have not invested much money. You can get a DIY charge kit (R134a w/oil and sealant along with connector hose and built-in gage) for around $30-$35. I bought a thing called EZ-Charge at AutoZone that worked great -- I also see these at Advance and Walmart. Once you have that it will only take about ten minutes to charge, and then you will know if this made a difference or not. In my case it did -- both sides blew cold afterwards.
