 Post subject: Coolant elbow leak

This is my first time posting over here on the new forum.

I replaced my LIM about 1 year ago, but I did not replace the rear coolant elbow. I just replaced the one below the SC nose. Now the elbow at the rear just below the alternator is leaking (badly).

I guess I should have replaced it when I did the LIM, but did'nt think about it?

What is the best way to replace that elbow? Do I have to pull the SC and the LIM to replace it?

You do not have to remove the sc or lim for the rear elbow.

Remove the alternator and loosen the drive belt tensioner, this should give you enough wiggle room to free the coolant elbow.
