I am at work until 8pm and not close to my car to look. I know my transmission cooler lines were quite tight. they are a standard thread pattern (righty tighty, lefty loosey). As long as the fitting turns and the line does not, you are ok. You do not want the line turning and then twisting.

As for the fans, I would have to take a look as for getting them out. It has been awhile since mine were out.

From the FSM, they say to remove the radiator support. That is the bar that runs across above the fans. two bolts on each end, two bolts on radiator support brackets and 4 bolts holding the header panel to this support.

There are 2 bolts holding the fans in and one bolt holding the trans cooler lines to them. Once those are out, the fans lift out.

The radiator is attached to the AC condensor also.

BTW, you have a PM.

Got everything loose except the lower trans cooler line. I have the spring clip off but it don't want to budge from its seat...any ideas and how to get it out? The upper one just popped right out but the lower one is being a "PITA"!!

There is a little metal clip that comes out and then the plastic ring should slide back.. I had to take a look at mine to remember.

Ok, the rad is in and she is running! Not running great but she is running. A couple of things to watch out for if you do this yourself. One of the PITA issues was the spring clips on the Trans Cooler line connectors. Remember to be careful taking them off as they are "spring" clips and will fly anywhere if your not careful. Also, putting them back on was the worst...tip - put them on the connector before you put the connector on the radiator ;) Also it was never said but assumed...remove the top rail piece to allow yourself more room to remove fans and other stuff plus you can move the radiator forward to reach the AC condenser connector bolts easier!
Like I said, car is running but it is running rough and I am getting, what appears to be water leakage from the rear of the engine almost in the middle of the car. I had a couple of codes one was for the IAT sensor that forgot to plug in (duh) and the other was for the EGR valve I believe. Could the EGR valve be making it run rough and die at stop sign and stop lights??
Anyway, if you have any ideas about my issues please voice them as I try to trouble shoot what is going on! Thanks!!
