Is it safe to run Seafoam through the vacuum lines of a Supercharged vehicle? If so, will it clean the impellors/supercharger and TB? Thanks

Yes it is safe. It won't really clean the S/C, but it is safe.

It won't do much to clean the throttle body; it would be best to clean this separately. There is a good writeup on how to do this here at the Club.

[PossessedPower: I didn't get much smoke either when I did my 2000 SSEi.]

I have found its best to let it stall out towards the bottom of the can and let it sit for about 10 mins, trust me you will get some smoke

I've always been wary of using Seafoam or other cleaners in a motor so I've never used it (did it in the gas tank once, but researched more and determined that to be a waste of time and money). I've heard of people sometimes hydrolocking their motors or seen a video or two of people blowing their motors, but maybe they were just twits. Either way, I play it safe and just do the regular maintenance.

Seafoam does do a little bit. Water decarbonization does more for less $$$. Seafoam shouldn't hydrolock anything since it's either alcohol or petroleum distillates, which burn off and create a nice smoke show. The water flashes to steam and blasts off carbon. I had a black drip out of my tailpipe when I did that to my Buick.

Running a good fuel system cleaner like Chevron Techron, Gumout Regane, or Amsoil PI should be enough if you're so inclined.

Learn from the mistakes of others, that way when you mess up you can do so in new and interesting ways.
