I have the manuals at home but is anybody at their books or have an engine pic of where the coolant temp sensor is located? I need to find out if that is why my gauge is going whacky. I don't think so because is erratic and not just getting hotter and hotter! It doesn't reset itself at all anymore just randomly sets itself somewhere and goes up from there! Right now it starts beyond the red and goes up from there...whacked!!

Anybody know the price of a gauge and is it readily available at any parts store??

It's actually in the LIM, not the block.

However, your problem sounds like a cluster though.

Ok Andrew, I think I am gonna go for that cluster if you still have it. Now the RPM's are reading 4K at an idle and the temp gauge is on the "N" for neutral...go figure but I don't think those are normal readings!!! Has anybody else had these issues with their clusters in a '05 SE?? Thanks!!

Sorry, when I got your PM, I thought we were talking about your SSEi. I don't have any SE clusters.
