Hi All

So a few hours ago it started to snow out of no where and I went to back out of my drive way (up hill) and the traction control kicked in a twice. After I pulled out all the way and started driving down the street my trac and ABS light came on. I drove about 4 or 5 miles down the road they stayed on the whole time,I got to where I was going shut the car off and then turned it back on they the light were off. Car was sitting for about 3 hours then I drove home trac light came on cause parking lot was really bad then trac light went off. About a mile down the road lights came back on and stayed on till I got home. I know that its a sign of wheel sensor but Im just wondering if it could have anything to do with the weather? The guy I bought the car from said that both front hubs were replaced not to long ago and should still be under warranty. Im hoping its to do with the weather.

Thanks in advanced
Keith

Could be a loose connection. I'd pull the wheels and blast them with some contact cleaner and make sure they're secured.

Thats what I was thinking/hoping for to. But today its a little bit warmer out and no lights. So Im guessing that it is to do with the weather, but still going to clean and check them. Any other ideas on why it would do this?

Thanks Keith

I had a hub that would do that with wet, heavy snow. The connection just never felt right on it. I replaced the hub, and gave the other to my son to use in his Grand Prix. It's been working fine there.

I was thinking about swapping it out cause the guy I bought it off of said they have a lifetime warranty. But today it was snowing yet again and no lights. Hmmmmmm Im just going to give it some time if they come back I will be replacing them.

I agree, when you have the time clean and check the connectors at the wheel hubs... Also this could be an issue with the ABS/Trac Pump... Just keep an eye on it..

What should I be looking to watch out for on the pump?

I had the same issue it turned out to be that the connection cable on the bearing was rubbing and rubbed through the wire.. causing a short when it would get wet... Replaced the bearings they were due anyway and havent had the issue come back
