My oil pressure guage maxed out today at 120psi. The oil is full and fresh. I assume I need an oil pressue sensor/sending unit. Anyone know the GM part number for my 2000 SSEi? It should be around $40... right?

Thanks,

Martin

Man - I keep seeing posts and realizing - hey my car has that issue. I am starting to think my car has EVERY issue!! And yet I just put up with and continue to drive!!

New Years Resolution - Fix these issues with my car that are fixable

Is there a video or explanation how to replace the oil sending switch?

We'll help in any way that you can. When you get a chance, you may want to look over the techinfo section. There's a link at the top of the page, as well as the top of the mechanical section. Lots of good information there.
