I see this isdifferent from the 97-99 SSE/i body style...all i see is an "Air" button and when i press it, nothing happens. I dont have the original manual in the car. (dont understand why people take the manual, matts and accessory kit when they trade the car in  ) i was trying to figure out what fuses to check. FYI: the load level does work...not sure how well but looking at the pics on YOUR RIDE you can see the back end still sits up and the car was off on the "AFTER" pics.

Sit in the trunk and see if it pumps back up. The key does have to be on to do this, FWIW.

oh yeah, the compressor works...my question is, how do get the "AIR" to work? i pressed the button when the car is running and it doesnt do anything. I had 1 bonneville that had the button, though all were SSE/i's and the compressor worked. i could hear the air seaping out the air valve and pump air in my tires or anyone elses...the car i have now, i push the AIR button and nothing happens. is it a fuse that may have blown and if so, i dont have a manual to check the fuses. i was wondign if we have the same fuse pattern though urs is newer...i can go investigate.

If the leveling control is working, the fuses and relays are good. The compressor can be a bit quiet, and engine noise can cover it. Listen carefully by the rear passenger side fender to see if you can hear it. If the seal is good, you may not hear air escaping from the valve in the trunk.

If it still isn't working, pull the switch and check for voltage on the purple wire. If none there, the is a problem either in the wire, or the rear integration module. If there is power, jumper that purple wire to ground. If the compressor starts then, the switch is bad.

There is a fuse box under the hood, and another under the back seat. Under the cover of each is a diagram showing information on the fuses and relays in each.

In your first post you said the load levelling is working, but when you hit the air button nothing happens. So, if you are trying to get the pump to come on by the button in the trunk, make sure you have the key in the accessory position.
