I have an antifreeze leak....passenger side at the rear of the engine. It was too hot to do much looking around for leaks from hoses, etc tonight so I'll have to check it out tomorrow. The weird thing is it only leaves a puddle when the engine is hot. I have to drive it then let it sit and idle for like 3 minutes, etc, in order to get a puddle. There isnt a puddle where I park at home, so it's not leaking unless it has been running for awhile. The reason I even noticed it was leaking is the resovoir (spelling?) keeps going dry and the temp goes over 200 when idling for a few minutes. Water pump? Any other ideas as to what I should look for?

There are 2 hoses for the heater core and 2 plastic elbows. In this picture you can see one that goes into the back of the LIM right above the water pump. There is another one going into the bracket for the alternator behind the yellow tag in the picture.

This diagram shows the heater pipe adapters as they attach to the alternator bracket. The heater hoses attach to them. You can see them in myfirstbonnie's picture in the upper left with the red caps. There are O-rings around them that seals them in the bracket. Those can start to leak. You may have to use a mirror to see behind them to check for leaks.

Sorry, I forgot to post a reply...It was one of the plastic elbows. Never would have found the leak without your advise about using a mirror! Replaced both elbows, added antifreeze and it was all fixed. :)
