It is rare to loose the actual canister. It's nothing but a big fish-tank filter ( or used to be filled with activated charcoal and filter fluff....can't say I've taken a hacksaw to one recently to see if they are still made the same way. )

Typically, you end up with leaks in the vac plumbing to the intake and the fuel tank. At which point, you get a strong smell of fuel under the hood as the vapors escape from the can and collect in the engine compartment.

First, stop starting new threads every 10 minutes.

Second, no one told you you had anything wrong with your canister, so why did you disturb it? There are two purge solenoids that may or may not be your problem. You need to START by cleaning the top of the filler neck where the gas cap seats, and drive with it cleaned and a new cap for a while.

Then, if that doesn't resolve the errors and codes, replace the rear evap solenoid I mentioed in the other post you made.

Oh, thats fine. If you don't want my help, I won't bother. It's not like I just did this 2 weeks ago and could give you some insight. If you don't want to take the advice being given, why are you asking?

I only told you to stop making new threads because sooner or later, a moderator is going to notice you have started 7 threads in the past day about this same issue and tell you the exact same thing.

mahki08, please add information to one of your other posts. Multiple posts with various issues can be confusing, and the problems may be inter-related. Imagine related issues being spread across multiple topics and members trying to help you miss other issues. It makes it tough. Please state ALL your issues in one topic.
