what is the amp of the battery? I have a trickle charger on it now but wanted to make sure I have the switch on right. What other things should I be aware of if there is absolutely no power?? Thanks,

Mac

The higher setting will be fine.

Corrosion would be another less likely cause. Is the battery old, or relatively new? If newer, I'd wonder what caused the battery to die.

Yeah, I didn't see any corrosion on it. It looked pretty darn good actually...visually anyway. I put the trickle charger on it for a few hours then it started right up. The DIC is reading a 14.2 to 14.6ish when on the gas and down to about 13.7 at idle?? Still running so far...took it out last night and drove it to work this morning. We'll see what happens in the heat. Suppose to be in the 90's today. Just freaky that it was like there was no battery at all...no clicks, no lights, no nuttin'!

Ok, update...after a brief trickle charge the car cranked right up and is now, apparently, working just fine except that every time I start it the DIC says to "check my tires". I have checked them, topped them off with some rear air to 35lbs and still showing "check tires"??? Any ideas anyone?

Make sure all the tires are within 1-2psi of eachother, then on your DIC, select tire pressure and hold the reset button for 10 seconds or until it goes to normal. The car doesn't automatically reset, you have to do it manually.

On the DIC, press select until it reads tire pressure low. Depress and hold the reset button (5 to 10 seconds) until it reads reset, then release.
