Hey guys i was gunna do the water pump last night when i realized that i have a bolt right behind a pully(idler) i think. My question is how do i get that out.?? I checked out the other posts but couldn't get any info regarding my situation.. pictures would be great if possible thanks guys

Couldn't you just remove the idler pulley? Takes no more than 30 seconds to remove. It's reverse threaded FYI.

ya but the pully is right beside the mount and theres no way to get any tool in there

Wow...coincidence. I wrote up that procedure for a guy at the old forum last night.

The basic answer to your problem of the bolt is that the power steering pump needs to be unbolted from the engine. Pretty easy with a deep 13mm socket at 12 and 6 through the holes in the pulley.

Edit: BTW I have heard of at least 3 people changing the pump w/o removing the torque axis bracket. Seems like a much tougher job, but possible.
