Today I noticed that my SSEI was riding very firm/hard and also noticed that the ride control compressor was constantly running.. When looking at the rear of the car, I noticed that the rear end of the car was quite high with a lot of space between the rear wheel opening and the top of the rear tire...The Touring ride and Performance ride indicators are showing only one indicating light on at a time (Touring ride) which is normal... Any ideas?

look under the car near the back subframe and adjust the ride height sensor - see if that helps, you may also have a small leak forcing the pump to keep running to maintain height.

I've had the arm break off the sensor and pop off the ball stud on the control arm on separate occasions. Where ever it ends up when that happens, it gives bad info to the system and it'll pump way up or purge all the air pressure.

The level indicator arm link broke at the plastic end piece allowing the arm to pivot all the way up indicating to the system that the car was too low causing compressor to stay running...I repaired linkage but have excessive pressure in rear shocks making for a harsh ride.. I tried to disconnect air tubing at shock fitting but could not do so since they are seized at the fitting and I didn't want to break them off...Any ideas on how to relieve air pressure?

It should automatically dump the extra pressure if the rear is too high. You might need to adjust the arm.

you may want to use high quality epoxy or crazy glue to repair it - it may work well if repaired.

Yes that is what I used to repair the link arm and broken end plastic.
