Car is a 1995 SE, it has an ABS light, I pulled this code:

ABS 25 LF WSS Circuit open/short

The service manual says to check a couple things, but I'm doing some research on the assumption it's most likely a sensor. In the book it describes replacing the front sensors and says they are right and left specific. However, what I find on line I think are complete hub assemblies that fit either side. Can someone verify that the hubs - for example a Timken 513087 - does include the ABS sensor and fits either side? If not, anyone have a source for the sensors?

Thanks for any info.

That's a hub and sensor assembly. I'm not so sure you can get then separate at all. They fit both sides.

I recently changed hub and bearing assy and reused original wheel speed sensor with no problems. checked AMAZON and individual wheel speed sensors are available. wheel sensor is not right or left specific. cost about 25 $.

Was that a front or rear? OP wants a front. For the rear, I think you can get just the sensor.

I replaced hub and bearing assy on LEFT FRONT WHEEL and reused original wheel speed sensor. upon closer look at AMAZON parts they do specify LEFT FRONT WHEEL so it seems left and right wheel sensors are not interchangeable, however the sensors can be purchased as a separate part respect to the hub and bearing assy. FYI, the replacement hub and bearing assy was from TIMKEN and did not come with wheel speed sensor.

The Timken part he asked about is a hub/sensor unit and it works on both sides. Got a link to the standalone sensor? I apparently haven't seen it nor can I find it with a quick search.

my bad. my previous statement regarding TIMKEN HUB AND BEARING ASSY is incorrect. i just took a look and in my case, the WHEEL SPEED SENSOR is part of the HUB AND BEARING ASSY. I am not sure what car model is shown in the YOU TUBE video.
