I know it's been covered I know it's been talked about numerous times, I am not internet savy and have attempted to run a search and failed at finding what I needed. I have a 1998 non supercharged, i have to replace the t/c since the ole girl has just shy of 400k. Ive decided to drop the cradle and drop in a very low mileage engine and trans, my question is I remember reading awhile back somebody stated I could swap in struts and stuff from a late model bonneville or lesabre. Aluminum control arms or whatever it would need. I have numerous late model lesabre parts cars all very low mileage so evening I would need is really available. Just don't want to make a rolling car a dead cat if it isn't feasible.
Any and all information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys!

ADD kicking in, the lowering aspect no offense I could care less about, although your car looks great. For the lss it doesn't interest me, the old girl has 371k on her, and cleans up pretty good, but what kills me is the alignment problems from the factory set up, anytime you mess with the front end its got to be aligned, when the car has close to 400k, *shoot* breaks. Alot. And 100 bucks for an alignment every few months is getting old.
I remember reading awhile back about the subject, h-body struts late model 00+ I read bonneville specific until I acquired a *shoot* ton of 00+ lesabres for engines. I have access to every part required to swap to a factory yet more versatile set up, i.e. Options for aftermarket struts and brakes if I ever felt squirrely. Which brakes would be my first go to given I had the option like the regal, gp and Bonnie do.
My ole girl will be going under the knife soon, torque converter is finally about at its limit, trans is perfectly fine and motor as well. But if I'm tearing it apart for a tc I have a 100k mile complete pair that I can drop right in is place and be done. But if Im going to pay for yet another alignment I would like it to be my last and with a new set up I can do work to the front end and not spend the money every time like I do now.

I have access to struts, knuckles, bearings everything for what ever I would need on hand from multiple vehicles. Would basically just want a yes or no answer on if I can do the swap safely with a donar lesabre. I have an 05 Bonnie that I've done work to the front so that's how I know the front of the buick is all exactly the same, and what I read awhile back was using a doner Bonnie front suspension to do so.
Struts and knuckles, is that what I would need? Do I need to mess with control arms? How about calipers and brackets? Do i need to use my original or the buicks?
All questions I'd very much like to have answers to before I start because I cannot be down a car for very long, and would very much like to do everything in a day, I will drive it to my shop in the morning then back home that evening if I let it sit ill lose interest and my dad keeps a couple of classics in the shop for storage. So really the 57 olds or the 72 cutlass sitting outside for very long isn't an option

I've never seen anyone on here use 00+ LeSabre specific parts. If the LeSabre front knuckles are the same as 00+ Bonneville (which they should be), my link is useful in telling you it bolts up to the 92-99 H-body LCA/tire rod without issue and the differences between a 92-99 brake setup vs GM FWD most aluminum knuckle setups.
