My 97 Olds 88 keeps wearing out the left front trans mount. Has anyone figured out a solution to this?

Use a bolt and sway bar bushings to limit how far it can move. Rubber doesn't do well under tension. If you have access to a welder, you can modify the mount so that it has two bolts with bushings. The idea is that they are just tight enough to not rattle, but loose enough that the stock mount still absorbs the majority of the vibrations when not under tension like it is at WOT.
