I have a Bonneville se I've been having problems with steering wheel feeling loose. Now it is upside down and it will barely turn left but it turns right enough to go sideways. Any advice much appreciated

I would first check the fluid for power steering pump - its in the back of engine near the firewall - it has a hot/cold mark on it. see if there is enough fluid and post back pl.

This is a weird problem. Are you able to check if the steering rack is still attached to its mounts?

Also check that the rear of the subframe is still attached to the body. It sounds like the cause will be obvious to someone looking under the car.

Also, if nothing is jumping out, also check the rest of the front suspension, especially tie rod ends to make sure everything is right.
