I have an intermittent CEL and RPM drop/stutter that if it happened consistently I think I could troubleshoot. I mostly happens at idle,, but sometimes at road or highway speeds. It does not seem to have an affect on power (90+MPH is still easy! lol). I'd like to figure this out and fix it, but can't seem to pin it down. to add to my frustration it will happen every time I drive the car for days and then go away for weeks. Any help is appreciated.

Crank sensor or its wiring harness maybe?

What is the CEL? As earlier suggested the wiring could be at fault, it's not always a bad sensor. Also, trying disconnecting the MAF and see if that help. How are the plugs and wires and general maintenance?

Hmm, try listing the spark plugs wires with water when it's idling in a dark place and look for arcing. I once had a new wire with a very thin spot in the insulation that would short out occasionally. It drove me mad till one day I heard this ticking noise and leaned real close to figure it out. It literally shocked my cheek and I jumped about 11 feet in the air!
