It should be 4 channel abs. So, 4 lines. It might be two that run from the master cylinder to the abs unit, then 4 from there to the brakes.

hi, from the abs controller there will be 1 line going to each wheel - if you get it off the ground, you can trace the lines to the respective wheel.

A couple of questions :
1. When I flare the brake line should I use
a double flare or bubble flare?

2. Depending on a double or bubble flare
what size fittings do I need to buy?

you will need a flare - and union to match flare
the bubble wont fit flare fitting and lines

There are two sizes of brake line used on these cars, 3/16" and 6mm (can use 1/4" to replace).

These are from the '97 that I did a few years ago.
Front Brake hardware
Brake line to brake hose: M10x1.0 (3/16 line) BLF-39C-5
Brake line to ABS: M12x1.0 (3/16" line) BLF-48C-5
Master cylinder to ABS: M12x1.0 (1/4" line, all 4 same) NAPA 641-3329

Rear Brake hardware
Brake line to ABS: M10x1.0 (3/16" line)
Brake line to Proportioning valve: M12x1.0 (inlet) M10x1.0 (outlet) (3/16" line)
Brake line to brake hose: M10x1.0 (3/16 line)

You need to bubble flare anything that's going into the factory connections, all brake line connections from the factory are metric and bubble flare.
If you have to add a splice, it doesn't matter if you bubble flare or double flare, as long as it matches the union you use. The fittings will work with either flare style.

Yep. Basically everything FWD GM with a unibody uses all metric hardware. I'm sure there are limited exceptions to that rule, but everything on the '92-'99 H-body is definitely metric with bubble flares from the factory.

Now, I've seen people jamb a double flare in a bubble flare socket...But you risk stripping the hardware getting it tight enough to seal.
