Anyone have any idea where I can get a replacement Turn Signal Cancelling Cam aka Horn Contact Ring for my 98 SE w/tilt column ?
Naturally the flimsy plastic broke but I can't seem to locate the part anywhere.
Apparently , 97,98 and 99 use a different cam than earlier or later years. (It is not the same as the one for a 93 SE.)
Please let me know a part number, if nothing else.
Thanks!

I should add that I've searched quite a number of sites; ACDelco, Rockauto, Amazon, AdvanceAuto, AutoZone, PepBoys, O'Reillys, GMPartsEast, GMPartsdirect, etc.

The only forum post referencing the part mentions that it's in a spring kit, which I would gladly buy EXCEPT that GM and ACDelco's sites state that the included cam is only for Bonnies up to 1996.

I called ACDelco and the rep claims that the cam in the spring kit will fit---so time will tell.
I will update after I get hold of the part.
If anyone knows otherwise, I'd greatly appreciate a heads-up beforehand.

The good news is that the turn signal cancel cam that turn signal spring kit GM p/n 26059701 contains, is in fact the same exact part as the earlier Bonnevilles use; ACDelco 26047013 or Dorman p/n 83232.

The strange thing is that both Dorman and ACDelco list the cam as not for 97,98 or 99 Bonnevilles. and this is true everywhere else I had looked.
My guess is that GM wanted to sell the cam only as part of the spring kit, so it was never listed separately as being compatible.

What a relief, as I was worried that the cam was made of "unobtainium" !
