So I'm having some issues with my 93 SSEI. 116k miles.

It's throwing codes 22, 23 & 55. The car drives good for 10-15 minutes until it starts to throw the SES light. The car hasn't died full out on me but it gets really sluggish. Idles fine.

Just some history (related? maybe.. maybe not). A few months back I changed out the radiator. A few months prior to that it blew the fuel pump fuse a couple of times in just standard driving.

I'm pretty mechanically inclined and just need some help on eliminating some culprits. Or even where to start?!? Was thinking maybe the TPS was triggering the other 2 codes.


22 - Throttle Position Sensor Circuit ( Signal Voltage Low )
23 - Intake Air Temperature Sensor Circuit ( Low Temperature Indicated )
55 - Exahust Gas Recirculation Fault ( EGR Solenoid # 3 )

TPB and I AC ordered. Well see...

If you continue to get those two codes and an O2 sensor too, then you are probably getting un-metered air into the engine. That is I believe usually caused by a vacuum leak. Mine was a bad Throttlebody. - BC
