Year and Trim: 1995 S SEI yep..the rare one!
I just bought a 1995 S SEI Bonneville, it has the series one engine, I keep seeing that 1995's had the series II engine in it. Someone change mine out, or was this a mid-year change?

1995 was an odd year. The supercharged engines were still Series I while the naturally aspirated engines were Series II.

And when you change the oil let me know if its a coarse threaded plug or a fine threaded plug..

So what does the oil drain plug thread pitch have to do with it?

Coarse thread would mean series II oil pan, Pan gasket and most importantly the series II light weight crank.. Forged main caps.... the 95 blocks in a sense are one off, 91-94 are not the same..

Fine thread is the heavier crank 100% series I...lol

95 seems to be really mixed... the 95 L27 is also freaky in the same way..
