I fixed the blinkers took the stering wheel off 5 times for various problems.. My high beem is on the blinker and you just pull back but rod came off plastic peice that broke. Do I have to take the steering wheel off again? the frame of the steering column is in the way and cant get in there.. How do I do this.. Please help..

Yes, replacing the plastic linkage inside requires steering wheel removal.

Hopefully you can pick one up at a you-pull scrapyard near you. I wound up getting one from a LeSabre when I had my 95 SSEi. I smashed the column apart to take the linkage out quickly :oops:
