ok . Want to get this straight. Better to replace all 4 struts at same time. Front is plug and play. but the rear will need struts, upper strut mounts, springs, upper and lower spring seats? Can you reuse old springs? Can you just replace the rear and not the front. What will this do to CCR? ELC is back only.

Yes it's better to replace all the struts at the same time, but if budget allows, it really won't effect ride that dramatically. If you get a "quick strut" type from several suppliers, then yeah it's plug-n-play, nothing else to buy. The rear depends, some struts will come with top strut mounts, just read what all the kit comes with before buying; if your just buying struts (rear) then it's a good idea to buy top strut mounts (x2). If you wanted to just replace the rear struts then you can, you don't have to buy new springs, new springs will compensate for a "worn-out" ride/feel and better accomadate the new rear struts, but not necessary. The rear coil spring (top and bottom) seats, you don't have to replace, if they are worn out, looked to be damaged then yeah go ahead and replace them. Yes you can reuse your old springs. Adding the rear and not the front will do nothing to the CCR. Yes you can just replace the rear and not the front. Yes ELC is back only. :beerchug:

Monroe Sensa Trac is really my only good option. I have ELC.

If I replace the rear only ( Money  ). To what setting does the Front CCR front default? I really only use performance mode.

The CCR will not default to anything, the entire system will be not functional as the CCR struts will no longer be there. The ride will then be decided on what struts you get.

I think he's asking what setting are you stuck in when the system decides it's no longer going to work.

J wikoff, That is correct. What will the default setting on front struts be when the rear are replaced? Perform or touring? Will the fronts stay at the last setting?

If both lights are already on for the suspension settings, then I would think that whatever the ride is like right now is exactly how it would be with the rear struts only replaced and leaving the fronts in place. Whether that default is performance or touring I really have no idea.

Well, Right now CCR is functional. ELC is dead due to hole in bladder of rear shock. Maybe I'll try to find a replacement at junk yard. Anyone know what models and years had CCR?
