Hi i have pontiac bonnevile se that has heat problems. Took it to the shop the mechanicas said my actuator that controls the heat stays at 100 %. I was told that it my be my actuator. going bad or could it be the climate control could i get some help on this thank you.

it can also be ONLY that Your heater core is dirty. Been there, done that. Our cars dont have fresh air filters, so the road debris collects itself to heater core- and then it does let heat thru although core itself might be ok.

check out how-to on techinfo about how to clean the core, its a bit different than what it was in mine i suppose. be careful with those water hoses if you remove them from core end. the heater core needs to handled gently so it wont break from hose ends.
