I need some input on this one.
It seems that when it is hot out and the car has sat in the sun all day its hard to start. It ends up turning over for 3-5 seconds before it fires up and then runs fine after that.

Cooler days, mornings, and short trips pose no problems. Even after driving it in 90* heat and you shut it down to run into a store and come back out it will start right up.

New/newer parts are: Napa belden wires, NGK spark plugs, 07 Grand Prix ICM and coils, fuel filter (WIX), fuel pressure regulator (Delphi), Ac Delco O2 sensor, Napa legend battery, Napa lifetime warranty alternator, 07 Grand Prix starter, There are others but this is what I figured were related to starting and running.

Is there something I'm missing or forgetting?
I'm not using the engine cover.
Could it be vapor locking? The reason I ask, is that when I changed the FPR the gas seemed hot.

So could it be after driving to work in the morning (motor up to temp) and sitting parked in the sun all day vapor lock the fuel in the rail?
