My brother-in-law has a 1993 Bonneville with an engine that is out of a 91 Bonneville. I haven't had a chance to look at it, but I told him I would post for him.

Here is what it does: with the key on (engine not started) you can watch the volt meter start at 12ish and then drop to 8. If you put the key in and try to start immediately, it would usually start. But gradually, it just kills the battery. Even jumping it takes a few tries. He says it is like something is sucking the life out of the battery.

Here's what has been changed:

ECM
Alternator
Starter (new)
Battery (twice)
Negative battery cable
Checked fuses

Any ideas?
