Ive started to notice my 97 bonneville pulling left when i push on the throttle and then pulling to the right when i let off the throttle while cruising (more drasticly with higher speeds) about a week ago and its getting progressively worse. its almost too ify to drive when its snowing out because the pull has gotten so severe since i noticed it a week ago.
Anybody got any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Kind of obvious issue but have you checked tire pressure?

Otherwise it sounds like something in the front end needs replacing

Put the front on jack stands, apply the parking brake. Put the car in neutral and see if the wheels spin with little effort. There will be a little resistance from the trans internals, but it should not take a lot of effort.

When you spin the wheels, they should both rotate, but in opposite directions.

You may also want to pull both wheels off and check the brakes for even wear. If one side is worn more than the other, you may have a stuck caliper.
