Hey guys, havent been on in awhile but always know I can turn here when theres trouble. Sorry if this is a repeat but could not find it by doing a search. Scanned the code and got O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction Bank 1 / Sensor 1. I know I have to replace the O2 sensor but I am not sure which one, I assumed sensor 1 would be the one before the cat. but I have seen some info that caused me to doubt. So which one is bank 1 / sensor 1, before or after the cat. Thanks guys!

It's on the top of the rear manifold, pre cat.

There are only 2 sensors on these cars, and sensor 2 is the one behind the cat.

What 00Beast said.

Get the Delco sensor from RockAuto. They seem to be better-made than the Denso sensors these days...

This is what confused me, Rockauto has the ACdelco listed and it says Position 1 is in the exhaust manifold crossover, and Position 2 is pre cat? Sorry for the maybe dumb question but isnt the exhaust manifold/crossover before the cat? So then both of these are pre cat?! In laymens terms, do I need the one that I can see if I look behind the engine? Thanks guys!

AFS109 is the part you want. The AFS123 is behind the catalyst. Looks like RockAuto isn't totally on the ball with this.
