My front sway bar is cracked on the right end where it attaches the wheel assembly - is getting it welded a viable/safe option or do you guys recommend a junk yard purchase. I have checked out auto parts shops - looks like replacement bar is about $100.00 bucks.

Replacing bar does not look too bad except for dealing with corroded bolts - do you guys have any listed steps or tips of replacing the bar?

I recommend a replacement from the junk yard. The only thing to caution you on is that it can be a little bit of a pain to get it in with the exhaust attached. Many have changed them and they are not too bad.

The swaybar is a spring. Never weld springs. Get a wrecker unit or new. Replace your endlink bushings and bolts. That way you can just cut off the old ones. A full new set of Energy Suspension links for the front of the car will run you about 25-30 bucks and save you an hour of time.

The net result will be much improved handling over stock bushings, especially if they're worn.

I didn't find that there was enough clearance to to the fronts while the car was resting on the ground so definitely use ramps.
