on a 95 bonn the breaks just started locking up in the front and sticking even without me pressing the petal. I replaced both front lines and still nothing. before i replace the master cylinder i am going to disconnect the anti-lock breaking mechanism to see if this is where the problem lies. If anyone has had simalar problems or a solution please give me feedback, i will check this post hourly thx.

Make sure your front suspension/steering is in good shape. I don't know how brakes can apply themeselves? Toyota might?

My 2000 would automatically apply the brakes everytime I wanted to accelerate when I was having TC/ABS issues. It was the most annoying and unsafe thing ever. I had to keep my foot pressed slightly on the brake pedal while pressing the accelerator to disengage the system.

Disabling the traction control would be my first troubleshooting try.

Look under your airbox, and you'll see several brake lines attached to the PMV (pressure modulator valve) used for the traction and ABS systems. Disconnect the large round connector by sliding the lock (red) back, then twisting the connector apart as indicated on it.

Does this solve your problem?
