I want to replace the sending unit. Gauge is erratic, I know this to be normal but ever since the original failed the readings have been lower than they used to be, and I feel they are higher than displayed. I'm looking to get an ACDelco unit, only place I can find it is GMPartsDirect, and the listing is as such found in the mechanical catalog:

I'm guessing all of ours are the same? If not can someone tell me where to acquire an ACDelco unit from?

They are not the same. Cars with a gauge use a different sender than cars with a dummy light only.

Can I possibly get a part # or place to get an ACDelco unit?

25627057 is the only number I can find. GMPD and Monsterparts say they have it.

So, is that the correct one? When I had last looked it up, there was no part # and it was very basic as I posted above. Not in any way saying you are wrong, just trying to clarify if your statement is one of saying "this is the part number" or "this is all I could find from my looking"?

I found it two places, and both said "all models". I'm starting to think that if there was two, they figured out that the "guage" version would work for the "just a light" version.
