If you replace those stupid hose clamps (what are those called again, Bill? I forget) with traditional geared clamps the job will go much easier.

Also, it's hard to remove the heater core clamps at the firewall because they're down low and fairly inaccessible. Just break them off (they're plastic) with a long screwdriver and you'll save yourself quite a bit of time.

Don't forget to vaseline both the inside of the hose and the nipples on the new heater core so the new hoses slip on easily.

I finished it in about 2.5 hours yesterday. Thanks guy's. I used axle grease on the hose and put two new hose's on while I was at it. I borrowed a pair of Mac hose clamp pliers from a friend to get the old ones off with and put standard gear type back on it. Those plier's with the cable on them are the stuff. I've used them alot and they are an invaluable tool. Thanks for the help.
