I have replaced the same coil (Top, I believe it is 1,3) twice in the past 6 months. Today again it failed. This will be the third one! What would cause this? Bad wires, plugs, ignition module? This is driving me nuts!! Wires are a year old as well as the plugs with about 8K on them.

you can try to remove the icm and wire brush the bracket it mounts to. idk thats weird that that is the only coil failing.

Well shame on me for jumping to conclusions before I inspect. All coils are fine. The problem is a cylinder 4 misfire and it is bad. At idle it's not too bad but trying to pick up speed from a stop it's running on 5 cylinders. It's not the wire, I checked that and even switched with another to see if it switched cylinders. I suspect fuel injector but I feel it pulsing. I'll check the plug. Hopefully it's not a dead cylinder. I'll search for help and if need to I'll post a new topic.
