Hey supercharged93, please check your PM's next time on through user control panel. I need to know your oil pressure gauge fix back in May. Thanks, old flyer

Old Flyer, try emailing him through the link in his profile.

In the meantime, please tell us how high the pressure reads and under what conditions. The most common cause is a faulty oil pressure sender. Keep in mind yours is a different switch if you're supercharged. (with gauge)

At start up, get full deflection on gauge, then goes to 120 PSI and stays there. Changed oil pressure sender, same size, and listing through Auto-Zone. No change. supercharged93 back on May 1 had same problems on his 93 SSEI and last message he said Changed YA and cured problem. But what is YA? I'm stumped until I hear from him.

Autozone sells the worst-quality sensors on the market made by the lowest bidders. That's just as likely to be your problem as the old sensor failing with age. Get an AC Delco sensor from the dealer or NAPA. NAPA will be cheaper. Make sure you get one for applications with the gauge.

Whether the AZ sensor is bad or not, it's best to get rid of it due to a very bad history here.
